Character of the Wine
Palazzo is brewed in the traditional Brunello tradition of Montalcino. The Sangiovese is aged for 36 months in 20/25 liter oak barrels and 2-year medium-toasted French barrels with a capacity of 225 liters. Refined in bottle 6-8 months before release. Longer than the 24 months stipulated by the Brunello consorzio.
